Miller® Multimatic® 215 PRO Mutliprocess Welder with Running Gear/Cylinder Rack 951000074
The Miller® Multimatic® 215 PRO with Auto-Set™ and Running Gear/Cylinder Rack is a multi-voltage, 230 amp portable multiprocess welder package that is capable of MIG, Pulsed MIG, stick, DC TIG and Pulsed DC TIG welding. It comes complete with a 301239 Running Gear/Single Cylinder Rack, 15 ft. MDX™-100 MIG gun and stick electrode holder with cable. Performance enhancements over previous Multimatic 215 models include Dyna-Pulse™, which allows for pulsed MIG and pulsed DC TIG welding. Pulsed welding provides greater arc control and lower heat input - decreasing distortion of thin gauge material. Miller's BeadVision™ graphically displays your bead profile, based on your welding parameter settings. The new Program Mode allows you to save and recall up to three custom welding programs with the press of a single button.
The Multimatic 215 PRO has a higher duty cycle, draws less power and has a superior welding arc, compared to other welders in its class. Weighing in at only 35 pounds, the Multimatic 215 PRO is capable of MIG and stick welding mild steel up to 3/8 inch thick. It can also DC TIG weld up to 1/4 inch thick steel with an OPTIONAL TIG torch.
The Multimatic 215 PRO features Auto-Set™, which eliminates the guesswork of setting welding parameters. While the welder is in Auto-Set mode, simply select the material thickness and electrode diameter you're using, and you're ready to weld. The Auto-Set control automatically sets your welder to the proper welding output. It is available when welding mild steel and can be used with solid MIG wire, flux-cored wire, stick electrode or tungsten electrode. Auto-Set can also be used when welding stainless steel or MIG welding aluminum with OPTIONAL spool gun. Auto-Set also allows for the use of several different shielding gases, including CO2, Argon and Argon/CO2 C25 mix. Manual welding control is also available for those welders who wish to fine tune their welding arc. The parameter door chart lists voltage and amperage setting options.
The Multimatic 215 PRO operates on 120 volt or 240 volt input power. The included Multi-Voltage plugs allow you to switch between 120 and 240 volts without manual linking. Auto Spool Gun Detect™ automatically detects when an OPTIONAL Spoolmate™ spool gun is attached, for seamless transitions to aluminum MIG welding. The 14-pin front panel receptacle allows for the connection of OPTIONAL Miller industrial remote amperage foot and figertip controls. The 215 PRO 951000074 comes complete with running gear/cylinder rack, 15 ft. MDX™-100 MIG gun, 15 ft. work cable with clamp, electrode holder with cable, 6.5 ft. input power cord with MVP™ plugs for 120 and 240 volts, flow gauge regulator and gas hose, two contact tips for .030 in. wire, Quick Select™ drive rolls for .024 in. or .030/.035 in. solid wire, and .030/.035 in. flux-cored wire, PLUS Miller's True Blue™ 3-year warranty.

Features:
Delivers higher quality MIG and TIG welds with exceptional arc control and versatility.
Fewer machine adjustments when transitioning between positions, joints, and wire types.
Lower heat input for less distortion on thin materials and better puddle control on out-of-position welds.
Minimized spatter reduces post-weld grinding and rework.
Ideal for welding applications where control and appearance matter most.
Future-proof your machine with simple software upgrades that keep you equipped with the latest enhancements.
Provides graphic feedback as parameters are adjusted.
Users will be able to see how setting changes affect penetration and bead profile.
Fast and easy predefined settings for multiple materials and processes to help you get welding quickly.
Available for all processes (MIG, flux-cored, DC TIG and DC stick) with the ability to fine-tune your settings.
Set weld parameters by selecting:
MIG/flux-cored — wire diameter and material thickness
DC TIG — tungsten diameter and material thickness
DC stick — electrode type, diameter and material thickness
Allows you to weld for longer and get more done.
More reach to help you tackle larger projects.
Combines best-in-class arc characteristics with the portability of a 35-pound machine. The arc is extremely forgiving to variations in arc length and travel speeds
With calibrated tension knob creates consistent feeding and easy setup for up to 15-foot MIG guns.
Makes setup quicker by offering three grooves, two for different size solid wire and a third for flux-cored welding wire.
USB-enabled software allows expandable machine capabilities without requiring mechanical modifications. This ensures the investment continues to produce over time, even as needs evolve.
Ensures reliable welds by detecting shielding gas presence, displaying alerts for supply issues, and purging the line during startup.
Automatically detects when a MIG gun or spool gun is connected eliminating the need for a switch.
Provides a smooth, spatter-free start. It is the best-starting machine in the small MIG machine category.
Power source cooling system operates only when needed, reducing noise, energy use and the amount of contaminants pulled though the machine.
Shuts down unit and activates the over temperature light if airflow is blocked or duty cycle is exceeded. Automatically resets when unit cools.
Can be set up to weld with .024 to .035 inch (0.6 to 0.9 mm) solid wire and .030 to .045 inch (0.8 to 1.1 mm) flux-cored wire.
